Squatterz

Synopsis

Papa owns a bookstore in a Lagos neighbourhood where everybody knows everybody's business. What starts as a favour to one relative becomes a house full of squatters — each with a scheme, a grievance and nowhere else to go.

The comedy is domestic and the stakes are small on purpose: rent, respect, whose turn it is to cook. Ten seasons in, the audience treats the household like family, which is exactly the point.
