The story
What is Tiara & Boma about?
Tiara has a plan. After a very public fall from grace, the Lagos content creator is rebuilding her brand from a borrowed house she has decided not to explain. Then she finds a man on her sofa. Boma is broke, unbothered, and halfway through her food, and he isn't leaving. Within a week the internet prefers him, and the two are performing a couple they insist they are not.
Then the house starts filling up: a strategist with her own plans, a friend from “before”, a woman with a key, both of Tiara’s parents, a five-million-naira brand deal, and a rival account copying every post.
Tiara & Boma is a Nollywood comedy about the Nigerian creator economy and the family you end up with when you can’t afford to turn anyone away. Everything is content.
